Altered Bottle!

Hi All!
Introducing myself, I'm Ms. Meenakshi, a craft enthusiast, working on crafts under the banner of KriShankArts, welcoming you all to my blog!!
This post is very special to my heart. Not only because of the craft I've created for my loved one, but for the reason that this is my FIRST EVER blog post!! 😋😋
Wish me Luck guys! I believe that wishes take further and beyond!

Hopping over to my Project, here is an Altered version of a scrap wine bottle which I created for my darling sister who made by 1st Diwali too memorable!! ^_^

To begin with, I gave a Gesso coat to the bottle for enabling a smooth base on the bottle and let it dry. On thoroughly dried layer, I used Mod Podge and adhered the floral Decoupage tissue to make it go floral. Further, I gave some generous coat of Mod Podge to ensure that the tissue is held well!

The next step, I used one of my favorite crafty products, Chalk Paints!!😍 I used Little Birdie Chalk Paint from Itsy Bitsy. Must say, it gives a good volume! Look at the gorgeous lemon yellow touch.. The tricky part here was I used acrylic paints. I used Green acrylic paint to give a greenish yellow background.

After letting the entire work to dry, I used Araldite Clear, a strong adhesive for adhering the embellishments. The paper roses and metal embellishments were from a local crafts store. The leaves used were from Itsy Bitsy and the chippies used for the frame and alphabets were from Mudra!
That's it guys!! And then, I couldn't resist myself from clicking enough pictures of the project!
Hope you all had a good read through my post!
Below is the video of how the Altered Bottle looks!!

Thank You!
